Job description
The Château de Mirwart's bistronomic restaurant is looking for several enthusiastic waiters/waitresses to
guarantee quality service to its customers.
The bistronomic restaurant is open Thursday lunchtime, Friday lunchtime, Saturday lunchtime, Sunday lunchtime, Sunday evening,
Monday lunchtime and Monday evening.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of the tasks required:
Before service :
- Sets up the room, cleans the equipment and furniture in the room, fills the fridges, sets up the tables and
chairs, the table linen, places the cutlery and crockery, decorates the tables and the room, prepares the necessary
for the aperitif, dessert, coffee and accessories.
During service:
- Welcomes customers and takes orders.
- Prepares drinks at the bar
- Serves drinks and prepares the bill, collects cash.
- Clears tables, takes glasses away and puts them in the dishwasher
After the service:
- Clears the table.
- Arranges and puts away service equipment.
Knowledge of Dutch or English is a plus.
Professional skills
Setting up the dining room and pantry and laying the tables for service
Welcoming customers on their arrival at the restaurant, seating them at a table and presenting the menu
Cashing drinks
Advising customers on their choice of dishes according to their tastes and the day's suggestions, and taking their order
Clearing tables and cleaning the restaurant
Serving dishes in the dining room
Presenting the wine list, advising customers and taking orders
Profile required :
- Previous experience in a restaurant
- Sense of service, elegance and courtesy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to work in a refined and demanding environment
Salary:
From €2725 gross per month, based on experience and skills.
