General Technician / Multi-skilled Maintenance Worker
Responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a General Technician / Multi-skilled Maintenance Worker to ensure the maintenance and proper operation of our facilities. You will be involved in various preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, including general maintenance, painting and basic heating and plumbing work.
Full list of tasks:
- General maintenance: Carrying out routine repairs (joinery, basic electrical work, locksmithing, etc.).
- General tasks: emptying bins, reassembling wood, etc.
- Painting and finishing: touching up paintwork and maintaining walls and surfaces.
- Heating and plumbing: Carry out first-level maintenance on heating installations and sanitary installations.
- Checking equipment: Regularly check installations to prevent breakdowns.
- Stock management: Ensuring the availability of materials and tools required for work.
- Applying safety standards: Respecting and applying current health and safety regulations.
- Working as part of a team: Working with the various departments to ensure that the infrastructure is in good condition.
- Maintenance of outdoor areas: gardens, terraces, etc.
Professional skills
Diagnose a fault in an installation (lighting, heating, sanitary facilities, etc.)
Maintain and repair an electrical installation (lighting, ventilation, intercom, etc.)
Check and maintain sanitary facilities, central heating and hot water production
Prepare surfaces (walls, woodwork, etc.) and apply intermediate and finishing coats of paint
Maintain green and outdoor areas
Monitor stock levels, identify supply requirements and draw up orders
Vereist profiel:
- Experience in maintenance, building or general maintenance.
- Skills in minor painting, heating and plumbing work.
- Autonomy, thoroughness and organisational skills.
- Ability to diagnose faults and propose appropriate solutions.
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- Driving licence (in case of necessary travel)
Salary:
From €2793 gross per month, based on experience and skills.
